It’s not hard to tell that I’m obsessed with croissants, but this painting represents something so much deeper than just my love for a buttery, flaky French pastry.
It represents a huge milestone in my art career and personal life. After successfully planning and promoting my first solo art exhibition, I booked a trip to Paris as a reward to myself. I finally got to grace my taste buds with genuine French pastries!
Of course I had to paint this monumental plate! During this trip I would realize the love I have for baguettes comes in at a close second to croissants. I suppose I’m just a carb lover!
